Tachographs & Economical Driving (LGV & PSV)
Part A
From 8am to 4pm - 7hrs Drivers CPC - International & Domestic Tachographs - Candidates will learn how to complete a tachograph disk, pre and post shift. They will also learn how to identify the correct disk for the type of tachograph unit used. Candidates will learn the basic operations, generically, for the use of digital tachographs. This will include making manual entries and selecting the correct mode at the appropriate time. By the end of the course, the candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of the use of tachographs.
Part B
Economical Driving - Candidates will be aware of how the degree of fuel consumption will have an effect of the profitability, or loss, of their employer’s business. Candidates will receive an understanding of how they can improve the fuel consumption of their vehicle and the positive effect that this can have on their employer’s business. This 7 hr course allows drivers to drive both in the UK and Europe.
